Might cause some issues to some people, but to alleviate the situation, use Egon. His speed should be enough to avoid his second and third phase, where his flamethrower grows larger. Shoot when you sense it will appear and immediately move away. DO NOT JUMP when it appears. Wait until he appears and moves his head backwards or something like that after appearing or he will immediately torch you when you are in mid-air. Instant hit and end of attempt. Better luck next time.
