When you are trying to get that grid of bananas, get the first few columns then blast back to the barrel's starting position, it will be there and you can easily scoop up the last few.

Make sure to wait to be ejected by the barrel when the countdown reaches zero (1:48 in the video) and not by pressing B, otherwise you won't have time to collect all the bananas with the next barrel.

IRMÃO??? é MUITO chato, MUITO MUITO chato, provavelmente o mais difícil até agora! Foi o mais próximo que eu cheguei de abandonar o hard mode pq eu não estava tankando mais! Acho que o pior foi ter que reiniciar o jogo toda vez para zerar o contador de bananas! Talvez se não fosse isso seria mais suportavel

Did it on second try, quite easy but fun achievement! If you fail just get the first bananas and reset the level, keep spamming until you reach 0 again.

this took me about 4 hours to do. wouldnt have taken so long if not for the fact half the time was spenting resetting the emulator and getting back to the level

a única dificuldade pra mim foram aquelas abelhas do minuto 1:51 no vídeo acima, o resto foi menos tenso

Agora que eu consegui passar, pra não dizer que eu sou chorão, eu acho que essa conquista não deveria estar no set. Num jogo igual ao Donkey Kong, por exemplo, dá pra fazer um monte de conquista igual essa ("Pegue todas as bananas da fase") e colocar diversas restrições arbitrárias cheias de nonsense. Isso só torna a platina do jogo maçante, também torna um jogo ótimo em irritante, tudo porque a conquista foi mal desenvolvida. Então fica aqui minha queixa e crítica: não aprendi nada sobre o jogo com essa conquista e não me senti desafiado -- me senti, na verdade, irritado por ter que fazer algo que poderia ter sido feita em qualquer outra fase do jogo.

Vou dar um exemplo de difícil porém justo: a conquista do papagaio lá em Animal Antics. Aquele trecho lá com o vento é extremamente difícil de controlar, então é fortemente passível de acabarmos tomando dano. Passar aquele trecho sem tomar dano é uma baita conquista. Significa que você melhorou no jogo. Dominou uma mecânica tensa. Ou seja...

Essa conquista dos barris com as bananas aqui não tem nada disso. É só tentativa e erro sem muito nexo. Abre e fecha o jogo. Blé!

Sawadadiego i prefer this achievement instead any no damage or speedrun one. Those 2 are not fun, while this one kind of is.

I seen many critics about this achievement.

But I very love it!

At beginning, I "For which reason I have to get 0 bananas to start this??!!", then I remember that "If I resume the game I will get 0 bananas instead."

And the fun begins!

I love to analyze a level in a deep way, so in the part where you have to shoot at the "3 seconds barrel re-spawning point", where there are 4 horizontal line of bananas, my mind turned on, I was near the orgasm XD

The rest was easy, I tried many times, yes, but a very creative achievement. I will remember this at the pair of the achievement of the thunders of DKC3^^

Long live to the retroachievement level-based-special mission mode in a level^^

This took me a few hours to get, but a tip for people struggling to get back to 0 bananas-

Just grab what you need from the bananas at the start (10 bunches of 3) Start+Select out of the level as necessary and just a bit further are 13 bananas and a DK barrel. Once you get 0 Start+Select out and go back in. This is much faster than resetting the game and going through the title, save select and world map again.

Definitely the most time-consuming single achievement of the set for me, I thought the no-damage Squawks in Animal Antics was going to be the toughest one.

though i got it quite quickly, so there was not enough time to get annoyed, i guess XD

maybe people wouldn't be so mad if there was no need to reset to 0 bananas every time, i can kinda feel where they are coming from XD
