If you're like me and you didn't save money throughout the game, you can get this achievement by depositing about 143,370 with your Mom, changing to "Save" mode and then battling a bunch of trainers (Elite Four or SS Aqua provide fast repeatable trainers). I didn’t get mum to save money either. This didn’t pop for me doing the elite four over and over for some reason. I ran out of trainers in the world so had to do the SS Aqua.

@WKGames Technically, it should be 120,570; since all you need to worry about is triggering the last purchase, not staying about that trigger-threshold after the purchase.
