I think so. Regardless, beef up your Lapras with some Protein, Calcium, etc... and use some X Attack/Defend during battle while his Seal uses rest. Easy peasy.

Beat this with a Level 30 Lapras (Surf, Sing, Strength, Body Slam). I caught a second Lapras but didn't even need it for the fight. This is possibly the easiest challenge yet due to how good Lapras is. It's a shame this is the only ice type available before Pryce.

Just chiming in. I tried doing this with cloyster. Nothing. Even if you have access to water stone before hand. It won't work. Use Lapras.

Lv 29 Lapras.
Seals: Sing and Body Slam.
Piloswine: Surf.

Can I ask why this achievement apparently doesn't work with Cloyster? It's the exact same typing as Lapras.

I figure it doesn't work because you can't get a water stone "other then trading" before this gym. I unlocked this with lapras. I gave myself the stone tho pok hex. Editing my items. To see if one can do this with cloystar. So others won't put the time into doing all this.

super easy, lvl 30 lapras then just sing and bodyslam until you win.

Even with only a lvl 29 Lapras, Pryce is still a pushover. Sing both the Seel and Dewgong. Confuse Ray on both them so that they don't get the chance to Rest while you use Body Slam. All that's left is to Surf the Piloswine, and you're donezo

Sidenote: Raise Lapras to lvl 30 and equip the Mystic Water so that you're guaranteed to OHKO his ace

I understand the idea behind these achievements, but even doing the Oak Challenge leaves you with only one or two options per fight, generally with only one good option. Might as well make the achievements solo this boss with that pokemon. Do you know how annoying it is to grind an Umbreon under level 25 just for the Ghost/Dark badge?

goddammit i shoulda looked at this requirement before playing, i only looked at the first couple+Clair. i didn't realize there was only 1 ice type before pryce and its only available on fridays
