I used Laevatain, Flame Demon, Bone Pillar and Rubicante (Lubicant) for this one. DON'T forget the sword, you should hit him and instantly backdash out of his range. Stay on the ground for as long as possible and try to jump over Julius only when he's starting an attack (and only when you get cornered), his aerial attacks are harder to dodge than his ground ones and you can keep most of the fight on the ground. At my better attempts, I only used soul attacks when he was far enough, at least half a screen away (and if you nail Flame Demon when he's sliding, you get multiple hits too). Phase 2 isn't much harder once you know how to dodge each subweapon, just don't get tricked into staying airborne too long. There's some RNG, but once you get his pattern down, it's all about being consistent for long enough

My best setup was: Weapon: [Laevatain] Armor: [Dracula's Tunic] Accessory: [Satan's Ring]; Bullet soul: [Flame Demon] Guardian soul: [Buer] Attribute soul: [Lubicant]; Item: [Spoiled Milk] --- Strategy --- Before battle start, use the [Spoiled Milk] to raise [Lubicant] soul effect attributes to max (down HP to 1) and activate [Buer], it will grant some damage when you fleeing from Julius. In second phase use [Flame Demon] attack when Julius is chargin the subweapon; backdash and prepare to dodge. Stay calm and focus... "sometimes" you'll run on his whip... rip; start again lol *HINT* U can "borrow" some [Spoiled Milk] from [Evil Butcher]

As mentioned above. Lubicant Soul. During 1st phase, stay on ground and bait his whip and back up out of range. Use Bone Pillar soul to land up to 3 hits. Then at 2nd phase just keep distance and Flame Demon. Have a stock of Mind Ups.
