whip knuckle doesn't count? I mean I should have checked the list first. But the timing on that enemy being right next to legion and the whip in the weapon name really should allow it to count for this

I would suggest using Death as well as Axe Armor. Legion should die before its entire shell is gone so you can just lay on the damage with Death - just try not to hit the top half with axes or your whip.

The Arena warp is your best way out if you need to restock/go soul hunting. I forgot this and thought I was stuck because you need to go through too many enemies in narrow spaces to enter Legion's area, and I was already at the level cap... And as useful as Axe Armor was, I'm curious if the Ghost soul might be a Plan B here (I didn't have it)

Also, Whip Knuckle isn't allowed because it's not really a whip. You still attack by punching, he just does the same motion as whipping (if you have it, try punching with it and without any weapon and you'll see the difference)
