Damn effort on it to the achievement do not trigger. Do I need to get his PP to zero? Because he already couldn't use any PSI move

I got it by waiting until PP hit zero and then attacking - I was using a calculator to count down its total.

I also used a calculator, but it's PP was down to 2 for me. Unless I'm mistaken, as long as it's under 8, it'll work as it needs at least 8 for any PP attack.

Make sure you have a pendent equipped before doing this achievement.

Does this have to be against the kraken before Scaraba or in Magicant?

@Thelanicus - This achievement isn't for the Kraken, this is for defeating the Mani Mani statue at the center of the Sea of Eden in Magicant after you run down its PP.

No need to use a calculator nowadays: just enable Challenge Indicators in achievement settings, and the icon will pop up when it's out of PP.

I had a snake bag and used it to poison it. I kept healing myself with lifeup after every attack it'd throw at me until it ran out of PP. I got this achievement with ease for that.

OMG, I'm so stupid for how long it took me to get this achievement.

The Nightmare can OHKO you with its "glorious light" attack. This attack can also lower your accuracy by making Ness cry or it can make you Numb which removes all non-PP related attacks and Items. However, if you have the Earth Pendant equipped on Ness, this attack is nullified.

I thought I screwed myself because I equipped one of the pendants on Jeff earlier and I didn't have any pendants left on Ness. I kept attempting the Nightmare without realizing YOU CAN PURCHASE THE EARTH PENDANT IN MAGICANT making the fight much easier.

I walked all the way from the start of Magicant to the Nightmare about 15 times before I figured out what I was doing wrong.
