Took me a few tries. Once you deal ~150 damage to the big version, she becomes 4 small targets. She seems to turn back into a big target after about 3 turns. As far as I can tell there is no way to cheese this, you just have to kill her really fast.

Everyone was level 20/21. My successful attempt was: two Ice Flowers to inflict Defense Down. Use Red Pepper with Mario. Use Cannonballers once to trigger the 4 small targets phase. Use Cannonballers over and over (on the correct target, the small rock without any chips in it) and pray you kill her faster than she reforms. A lot of Bros Items will work to kill her quickly, Cannonballers is the only one I can consistently do well with though.

Really simple and even leaves room for errors.
Use the red Pepper (obviously) and then use the Moves you‘re the most comfortable with Copy Flower and Cannon were really good for me).
Hardest part is finding out who the right one is (it‘s the one with no cracks on its body and with no broken teeth)
