Consegui usando a strat do CassetteCobra e ainda 2 vezes (a primeira vez não contou usando o core Snes9x 2010 ai troquei pro Snes9x atual)

Chiming in to say that the others are totally correct, mashing in safe environments yields nothing. I mashed nonstop for 20 minutes (roughly 2400 uses) and got nothing, but using Stone in the arena I got it in two runs, probably 30-40 uses, and to boot my Rocky partner got a Samus as well lol.

Just unlocked this on Dynablade 2, going backward and forwards killing the two respawning enemies at the start of the stage.

Was on Dynablade stage 4, onto the boss rush section

I just did the second Dynablade stage 2 times. At the beginning of the second time it appeared.

It also worked for me! I got Samus in the Mini-Boss section with the Boss that wields the Fighting ability.

Dynablade 2 confirmed. Just kill the Parasol Waddle Doos/Dees over and over again with Stone until you get it. Took a while but still works :)

Wish I'd read these comments before. I spent like, an hour mashing it in the Arena starting area to no avail. When I actually did the Arena, I got it on my 5th or 6th fight.

I spammed stone anywhere else on the game and I couldn't get it, I did the Dynablade 2 strat and got it within one minute lmao

It seems like ultimately, the winning strategy is just PLAY THE GAME NORMALLY, WITH STONE ABILITY.

Since it doesn't seem to trigger in turbo/fast forward situations, it makes me wonder if the RNG for this is tied to something else. Perhaps something gameplay related is used in the RNG calculation, like your score. Just pick your favorite game mode, grab the Stone ability, and just play for a bit. Milky Way Wishes is probably the most convenient, since you can refresh your Stone ability on demand.
