Tip for those who are struggling: takes a bit of luck, but try to focus on the whites and keep track of them. Don't worry about what colors the others are, just make sure you're NOT grabbing a white!

I consider seriously while attempting this achievement the following: 1) Why do i do this to myself, 2) do I suffer from color blindness? or is this simply beyond the demands of skill and in the realm of luck as many other cheevos in this set? - The only strategy i've had *some* success with so far is using L+R to rotate as I run around the arena, and try to snag as many yellow balloons from the middle tier openings as I can. I'm not sure that "focusing on the whites" as the comment above says is even possible as the lump in the middle is a 2-D sprite and it spits them out in 3 directions, and it's definitely not a set pattern.

Definitely more luck than skill. What did help somewhat for me here was running over to where the first balloon pops out, rotate the camera to be near there, then keep it still while running back and forth mostly on the near side of the screen. This should position you to get max red balloons when they come out, but it's yolo a lot of times and you might snag some white balloons while trying for the red ones. Seriously, good luck.
