Pt-BR: Uma dica/alerta para pegar todas as conquistas de 1up sem problemas:
Se você usa save state e o contador de vidas chegar a 100 vidas, a conquista não cairá!
A dica é: Sempre que o contador de vidas chegar a 100, verifique o número de vidas que se tem que obter no próximo curso e faça a diferença MORRENDO. Assim, quando você obter as vidas do curso (conquista), o seu contador voltará as 100 vidas normalmente.

Noticing there's no Explicit Instructions here on where its located:
When entering the level, turn around and head underwater. There's a clam with a chest facing it. Swimming into the (open) clam will have the 1-up pop out. WARNING: Do not attempt to catch it off the wall, it has a nasty tendency to glitch on the wall. Try and guide it more towards the center as it gliding along on the central rock will be easier to grab.

I found a way that can make it easy to catch it. Face the clam, open it by passing through it and let the shroom get into the whirlwind as you get sucked too. You'll catch it automatically and the achievement will pop-up before you die.
