Se você usa save state e o contador de vidas chegar a 100 vidas, a conquista não cairá!
A dica é: Sempre que o contador de vidas chegar a 100, verifique o número de vidas que se tem que obter no próximo curso e faça a diferença MORRENDO. Assim, quando você obter as vidas do curso (conquista), o seu contador voltará as 100 vidas normalmente.

If you use save state and the life counter reaches 100 lives, the achievement will not drop!

Do this on the first star so you don't have to talk to the penguin at the top of the slide. Does anyone know if it is even possible to get the second slide 1-up? Seems like it always glitches out of the way.

I have to say, It’s not impossible to get the second one in the tunnel. I got it using save states once, still a pain but not impossible.

No, it's impossible going the traditional method. You can't build up enough speed to get the 1-up before it zips to the left. The only way where you can get it legitimately is to wall jump up the walls of the tunnel and fall down with the 1-up, which is still obscenely hard (an understatement) to do and you end up dying anyway. I don't think there is any recorded evidence of someone actually obtaining it through this method.

@covertmango If you read the comments you will see that you don't need the second 1up on the slide to get the achievement.

Surprisingly it doesn't look like anyone's listed them all out in text here yet:

1. In a box near snowman's head

2. Climb a tree near snowman's head

3. In a box on the side of the mountain by an isolated red coin and ice pillar, below upper bridge warp

4. In the slide's secret passage, only the first one counts

5. In a box in the upper area at the bottom of the slide. If you don't land here successfully from the secret passage you can wall kick out of a sideflip or triple jump
