    Even if you capture a max level and HP scyther/pinsir you could still fail this achievement by having it roll below average IVs. Yes, I had to reset 3 times to get it.

    These Bug Catching achievements went waaaay smoother for me then they did in Crystal. Won first try with a level 14 Scyther.

    Probally you are not gonna make the same mistake I did. Early game its the best to catch an Scyther at level 14 max. Scyther gives more points, only RNG about hes stats. Also its better to use an Pokemon with False Swipe to catch them easyer and faster. After you finished all the badges (16 in total). You can encounter more variety of Pokemon. Just stick with Scyther with level 28. Ofcourse again RNG.

    Problem only in this scenario is that if you use Scyther with False Swipe. The Scythers from level 28 knows flying moves. And he can knock you out pretty fast if you use Scyther himself. :)
