did it soo many times the emulator crashed. this is a stupid cheevo have to beat the game twice to have attempts. scott i would replace it with a more realistic time. the game lags slows down drops input take your pick.

@Scott speedrun is fine IMO but perhaps the difficulty needs to be tuned. 2-2 was a breeze compared to 3-1 and 4-1.

@Scott 200,000 points. Mario Land is a game that punishes you for going fast, it shouldn't be a requirement. These should be a subset with a goal for each stage instead of lumping them in with the normal set.

That was intense. I loved it, but hated it haha. My heart was pounding every time I got close. I failed by one second following Shinjimx01's video. In that vid, Mario bails on the jump after the invincible section from the 2nd moving platform on to the falling down blocks (he does a sort of fake out jump, sees he won't make it, then waits for the platform to raise back up, then makes it). If you time it right and don't pause at all, you can go from the section with all the pipes on to the moving platform, on to the 2nd one, then on to the falling down blocks without stopping. That gained me enough time to do the level (I had I think 8 seconds extra when I finally made it)

This was insanely hard compared to the chevos before. I did not enjoy anything of this.

I think all the speed run chevos should go in a dedicated speed run subset.

They just ruin in otherwise perfect set for most people.

I'm not looking forward to 3.1 speed run.

Funny that you feel the opposite I found this one more difficult than 3.1. Although i did this one first so mayve it trained me for 3.1.

Holy heck! I did it! xD So many tries. Got so close a couple times too. Was just off a few seconds.
Finally got it with about 7 seconds to spare. PHEW

I had to do this on hard mode so I could re-play the stage (small mario start). Took me about 50+ tries, learned the level layout and enemies by heart. Why have speed achievements on this game? Baffling.. Stiff and unresponsive at times controls and slowdowns are making things worse. Not fun.
