At the beginning of the chase Mr. Sax shoots out notes. You have to let some go to get him to shoot 3 notes each, then you try and hit him with a total of 7 of those notes before the chase i think. the 3 others are while he chases you, giving you 10 total.

Ok guys I figured it out. So, at the beginning of the chase sequence Mr Sax shoots out notes in this pattern: 1-2-3-2-3-2-3 and so on.So, here's my strategy: hit the first note at him and then shoot one of the 2 notes at the next part of the pattern. Then, let him shoot out the 3 notes and once they're halfway across the screen and mr sax has shot out 3 notes shoot them all back at him (you can leave one note) if you have done this right mr sax should have taken 7 pooints of damage. Then shoot the remaining notes in the actual chase for 10 damage. Hope I Helped! =)

This is so frustrating because Mr Sax starts jumping after you’ve hit him a certain number of times, meaning you have to rapidly try to hit him with the notes while he’s jumping and while the notes are quickly moving off screen. A video of someone doing this would help.

Also a question: does the no damage apply to the chase section as well as the actual boss fight? If no one replies I’ll update on this after I (hopefully) am able to eventually do it.

Update: you can’t be hit during the chase phase and the fight itself. This makes hitting him 7x at the beginning of the chase phase even more difficult lol

Having trouble with this one. Mr. Sax keeps absorbing one of the notes and taking no damage from it so I'm only getting 6 hits in before the chase begins. It's one of the notes in the first 3x pattern.

Finally got it, I basically had to hit every single note he shoots out to cover the one that gets absorbed, tricky but not too bad

I always found this chase section funny. If you time your punches right, you could leave Mr. Sax with only 1 HP before his actual boss fight begins.

That was kinda tough but fighting him with two HP left down to the arena was well funny! Thanks YoshiLikesFruits and azn, extra bit of wisdom for the ones like me that kept on hitting just the six, for the first wave go for jump punch punch jump punch as in azn's video but rather on the late side (jump as the notes reach their last apex) I found that to be the most reliable way to get the first three ones in, then do the same with the second wave as in the video and you should at least get two more in (might be a useless comment but that got me from an hour of fruitless attempt to two solid tries within a minute).
Also, if like me you thought during the actual chase you had to turn around to send the notes Sax's way (which ended my first solid attempt) you actually don't, punch them normally as you go through the level and you're gold!
