well, i thought that this would be harder but with speed up in RetroArch is pretty easy. Same for the rest of Game Corner achievements

You all know money is irreverent in this game, right? Just use the Missingno glitch on an item with high sell value and you're golden.

Damn, looks like same as with soft resetting, you also cannot do Elite Four in the middle of this achievement. I got all the coins, but forgot to keep enough cash for the store TMs, so I ran a quick Elite Four, because for the Pokémon coin achievement running E4 didn't reset the session, but looks like here it did reset. Looks like I'm gonna be farming another hundreds of thousands of cash for this...

Pretty grindy achievement for no reason to be honest. You can get it easily in softcore but hardcore must be painful.

I can't believe this is over! It took me 4 hours and a half using turbo mode, plus fast-forward, to finish this achievement and "This Is Illegal, You Know", "Second Place Isn't Bad", "7 Grand" and also "Gambling Addict". I never liked Game Corner when I played the original Red Version for the first time in the 2000s, but now I'm traumatized.

fast forward is normally possible in hardcore, since it doesn't make any achievements actually easier, just less grindy - it's just slow-motion features that are blocked

I haven't seen it mentioned here yet, but maybe it was part of the logic editing. You can buy the TMs at the Celadon store and sell them back if you run out of bag space while buying. I also saved the nuggets I had picked up so far to get more money for coins. So you don't need to KEEP the TMs you buy, just get them once and that's it.

I am so done with the Game Corner, lol.

Yeah this one irritating. Just wait until you have enough cash buy all the dpt store ones and then time to grind. no way around it. turn that speed up as high as it can go and turn on turbo. youll have to max out twice just about to buy them all.

Saving time and brain cells with the MissingNo. strat. I feel like this achievement was handcrafted to be tedious considering the emulator session rule.

I don't know if there is a machine that's luckier than others, but this is an easy enough thing to do if you use an auto-fire button and uncap frames. With the total amount of coins you get from people and the floor, you'll probably be well enough to be in the sweet spot range where you statistically gain more than you lose. Safest point I feel might be past 500 if you start off on a losing streak, maybe 1000.

I used the bottom right-most machine. On fast forward, it would switch between a period of loss, slow gain, and consistent 777s. Not too terrible to do.
