If you soft reset won't the pokemon you got be removed from the pokedex entry(?) Counting towards the 124 caught achievement these pokemon are needed anyways

Not working for me. I used the infinite coins cheat, bought every single of the 6 pokemon and nothing popped.

Hey guys this isn’t popping for me. I saved up to 9,999 twice and bought all 6 of the pokemon. I’m on one save file so I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong.

Ah I got it! Follow these EXACT steps:

1. Fast forward through the elite four until you have approx $300k.
2. Go to Celadon.
3. SAVE
4. Go to the game corner and buy 9,999 and fast forward to save time.
5. Buy Abra, Clefairy, Nidorina, and Dratini.
6. Back to game corner and buy more until you hit 5500 coins.
7. Buy Scyther
8. Back to game corner and buy 9,999
9. Buy Porygon

BOOM. Save the game after the cheevo pops.

Step 1 took the longest obviously, but steps 2-9 took me 10 mins on Fast forward. I hope this helps!

Geez, fate saved me from screwing this one in the actual playthrough! I wasted all my 9999 coins in the few possible TM's but I was planning to buy a Dratini. I had a little bit more than 11.000 remaining so it wasn't enough. Nice to know about that before regreting a decision. Shouldn't this be considered a missable? Or can you buy a pokemon twice and I'm scared of nothing?

Bizhawk + Autohold and 6400% Speed makes these really simple :) Got them within an hour each.
