    Seems as if this doesn't have a reset condition if you fail. I had to reboot the game to try it again.

    Avoided all walls and walking into trainers - only done the two forced battles, but still not pinging.

    you can clear the gym of trainers first then leave and come back and walk the route just dont hit the walls and dont stop so needs to be a smooth walk

    Easier than it sounds. Unmissable and you can see the pattern on the floor. Just dont rush and go 1 tile at a time, and it will trigger as soon as you enter Kogas little square. Retry from outside the gym as much as needed. Earned in Pokemon Red.
