    You can also catch a jigglypuff at the entrance of Mt Moon, find another jigglypuff, and keep using the only move you have, sing.

    I did this with Ditto, after getting the 'Found You, Faker' achievement. Since the two Ditto copy each other's moves (including current PP level) they never have to striggle so they will endlessly trade turns of Transform until you quit.

    just find a metapd or a magikarp and you can use any pokemon just use growl or leer too

    Technically this could be done against Lances dragonite using a nidoran since his "smart AI" will spam agility or reflect as they're psychic moves which is normally super effective against poison

    - Use Metapod/Kakuna against another Metapod/Kakuna and use Harden 20 times

    - Catch Magikarp and use Splash against another Magikarp or Metapod/Kakuna

    - Choose Ditto and keep using Transform against another Ditto

    This can be done before Brock
