Going from North to South (Pewter to Veridian) will save a lot of pain, getting caught at the last second. Used sittaman's image, with a few small changes, meaning the only risk is the very beginning.

when walking veritcally, go all the way up and down, don't go left or right at the red parts. safer this way

Not sure if this is the intended unlock method, but I followed map mentioned in previous comments, only fought the last trainer (no random encounters), as he seemed impossible to avoid, and still got the achievement.

That's because only *wild* encounters void the attempt, trainer battles are fine

Newbell, a missable achievement is an achievement that gets impossible to unlock once you miss it, forcing you to restart the entire game on a new save file. In this case, you only need to reload the area. And thus, this is not a missable achievement. :))

For anyone that might be confused; one session is not one playthrough.

To activate this achievement, you need to enter the area. Loading your save game while in the area, does not count, you will have to leave the forest and re-enter to activate this achievement. Having a wild encounter will deactivate the achievement. If you get to the end without deactivating it, your achievement will unlock.

Yes, it's recommended to beat all the trainers, first.

Bro i think it's broken, i was literally leveling up and when i passed the forest i gained the achievement without even knowing about it

For anyone wondering what the arrows mean on the map in sittaman's comment : Those are just the location to a potion and anti-dote you can pick up. the map was taken from a speedrun guide where you'd enter from the botton and avoid trainer encounters.

Do not follow that map verbatim, use the safer route on the right with the trainers as the achievement does not take those into account.

Second try for me. Once you figure out where to walk, that last stretch is just a matter of chance.

Yes, it does take a couple of tries, but it's doable.

The time I did it (about my tenth try) I've accidentally walked in the grass in the entrance and still manage to get it.
