When does the achievement become disabled? Is it when you press the action button on a gun/ammo or when you actually put it in your inventory?

Not what I was asking, but I think I figured it out. To rephrase, I was curious as to whether it became disabled upon pressing X on an invalid item (i.e., getting to the “Will you take the…” option) or when the invalid item actually enters your inventory. I assume the latter or else every time Carlos offers you a gift, the achievement would become disabled. Then again, the achievement description specifically prohibits “HG Bullets,” not grenade rounds of any type. I’m about done with the knife run so I’ll just confirm when I finish.

Done. Was pretty hard on a few parts but is possible to be done, just have to be careful to choose to jump the window before the clock tower and use evades as much as possible. Avoid as much combat as you can and save a lot of health for the final parts of the game.

I can't believe they use cheats to accomplish these kinds of achievements. What's the point of doing it in hardcore mode if they're going to cheat anyway? That's why many developers now prefer to create achievements that activate in a single session to avoid these kinds of nonsense. Hopefully, they'll find a way to prevent all these cheaters from unlocking achievements in hardcore mode.

If you earned the achievement without cheats, congratulations, you're a skilled Resident Evil player and deserve our respect as a gamer. However, if you did or are going to cheat, please reconsider and do it in softcore mode; it's more honorable than pretending you achieved something when you know you didn't.

Thank god for carlos rifle and the initial gun, it saved me a couple of times.
Quite easy when you know nemmy's corner exploit and the electrified grave digger.

Like bugiman said, I just unlocked this and didn't use the knife a single time in my playthrough. It was on my no heal run so I was using all the big guns. Does using the Rocket Launcher somehow bug this?

A parte mais chata é a do nemesis na torre do relógio. Demora uns 6 minutos pra matar o bixo kkk de resto é OK. Guardei bastante erva e spray pra conseguir essa conquista

Hardest part has to be Clock Tower fight with nemmy make sure you jump out of the window on the tram selection and dodge his 5 rockets even with the corner trick to get him stuck i ended up using 8 full heals lol
