@Alena Thank you for your time. :D

The issue with odd numbers is that the totals end up looking odd. So rather then having a total of say, 5000, you end up with something like 5013. Many people don't like that. It literally wouldn't kill the purpose of the rescore at all. The points could still be balanced and be able to be divisible by at least 5 or 10.

My username is totally and completely irrelevant to the discussion.

Lets say the game with 5013 points is Super Mario Bros, and "Collect a Mushroom", "Flower" and "Star" have 1 point each. So you suggest increase them to 5 only to make score 5025 or maybe removing those achievements to make it 5010? Still don't make any sense for me. The achievements that make numbers odd usually are the 1 point achievements, if we change them all to 5 points I think that will be excessive free points.

How about games like this: "There are 61 achievements worth 400 points"
OCD is important only for points? how about that odd number of achievements... Shouldn't they demote 1 to round it to 60?

I view the lowest tier (1, 2, 3, 4) as a means to even out the overall scores without jeopardizing the tiers.

It won't work every time, but if there's a set that's sitting at 798 points and has two achievements that are worth 1 point each, they could be changed to 2 points to make it an even 800.

Even before the set cap was removed, there were plenty of (and still are) oddly numbered sets.

Worst case scenario is that some revisions happen. ;)

I could see F-Zero X's bonus group being roughly 5,000 points.

For your rescores to qualify you need to show that you've played the game, ~50% or more of the set mastered.

Really dumb question: There are games that I've mastered that I want to help rescore, but they're selectable on the sheet. Do I just have to wait for them to show up?

You can request them here or in the dedicated Discord Channel

You don't have to replay anything. Your total score will shift as sets are rescored.
