The following achievements are missable:

Can be missed if you do not collect the Teleport Device in Coco Island, a level that cannot be re-visited after you beat it.

---

These can both be missed if you do not collect the Yellow Chaos Emerald in Coco Island.

---

Failing to collect either of the two missable items in Coco Island will lock you out of this achievement, since it requires you to collect every item in the game.

---

Items do not reappear once you collect them; if you have the Night Vision active while collecting the item in question, you will miss your chance to earn this achievement.

---

Finishing the level in question will complete the game, so you have only one chance to earn this achievement per playthrough.

---

The above boss-related achievements are missable, since the bosses do not come back after defeating them.

---

Cannot be achieved in the same playthrough as Yellow Power Rush, By Your Powers Combined and Perfect Collection, even with backtracking.

---

⭐ Keeping regular passwords can help you avoid missing these achievements. It’s a good practice to take a screenshot of your current password after each level you complete, especially if you’re approaching a level with a missable achievement.

⭐ However, entering a 16-digit password every time you want to retry a missable achievement can be time-consuming. If you know you are about to miss an achievement (for example, if you’ve taken damage in a boss fight and are required to beat it damageless), it’s far quicker to just get a Game Over at that point. This will start you with your current password when you select “Continue” on the title screen, saving you the trouble of having to re-enter it each time.
