Small update incoming!

RAP64 0.054:

- Changed how checksum is generated.

- Added MD5 checksums to bug reports tickets.

- Updated GlideN64 to July revision. Emulates dynamic lightning in Acclaim games (Turok 2, Turok 3, South Park and some others).

- Fixed black flicker when launching RAP64.

This update is primarily for RetroArch support. However, those still running RAP64 0.053 may find that they may run into many unlinked games in the nearby future. So it's a good idea for you to update regardless.[/i]

Odd... after updating to the new version, it no longer recognized my copy of SM74 as BEING SM74... I doubt leaving the 0.053 version's link intact will mess things up, but I'm confused as to why that happened despite the update being the ONLY difference.

Not odd at all. That's the purpose of the update. Most games will have to be relinked.

-Resident Evil 2
-F Zero X
-Mortal Kombat Trilogy

Any way to make the game think multiple people are playing? I'm trying to grind some Stars and Coins in Mario Party...

you need to have 4 countrollers plugged (active them in the emulator) and just before finishing a game (before last mini game) put all controllers to players instead of COM in start menu.

i remember doing that when i was a young boy.

By that do you mean PHYSICAL controllers? Because it never seems to allow me to do this regardless of whether I've ticked that "Plugged" box or not...

Does anyone else have problems with the overlay? In window mode I'm able to display it by hitting ESC, but not in fullscreen. The emulation pauses until I hit ESC again. No overlay. Only in fullscreen, though.

Fullscreen isn't fully supported by RAProject64.

Weird. Overlay works fine for me with RAP64 in fullscreen. It's the NES emulator that doesn't have an overlay in fullscreen (but the cheevos are still awarded)

It works fine for you because you're probably using Jabo Direct3D video plugin.

Most people use one of the OpenGL video plugins, which doesn't support fullscreen overlay.

ShadwSonic, you only need to "activate" all the controllers in your plugin. be sure that they are activated when you start the game (not sure about this, but some games on n64 needed to restart if i add a controller)

In OpenGl in windowmode the game isnt as stable as in fullscreen mode. In Super smash Bros i lose some FPS in Windowed resolution but in fullscreen it is super smooth.

Any idea?

Ah, ok! Thanks.

Just like you said MeatBro, I needed to have them "plugged in" BEFORE loading the ROM. Thanks for the assist!
