I just would like to request achievements for Golden Sun as well- both games. that would be awesome. :p

You could have one for collecting all Djinn, and one for each secret boss, in addition to progression and beating both games.

I started dev'ing for this today, but I'm re-playing it on my actual cartridge so I probably won't go through the entire game.. So if anybody wants to focus on story-based achievements, go for it.
I might focus more on the battle mode/arena. If someone would like to team up with me on this, feel free.. I'll probably get to the first boss myself in the main story, but that's about it.. I'll find as many code notes as possible.

Missable achievement Ideas:

Get the Rare weapon - Kikuichimonji.

Find Crossbone Island.
Defeat Deadbeard.

Bad Ending (Can re-load, fight final boss again, and get better ending)

Good ending.. obviously,

Wear a Cleric's Ring with any of the cursed weapons:
(Demon Axe, Wicked Mace, Muramasa, Demonic Staff, Demon Mail, Thunder Crown).
Getting all Djinn, use Judgement Summon, all summons.

And something to do with Lucky Medals, like maybe get one of the exclusive equipment:

I'm excited for this one there are lots of great achievements possible

There needs to be an achievement for clearing Mercury Lighthouse before Kolimas Giant Tree. since you are supposed to grab mia do the tree then do the lighthouse by the games suggestion but you actually dont have too

Hmmm... i'm already past that part, I'd have to see what I can do about it. Thanks for the input!

Uploaded 35 achievements today, more coming. I have the [Complete the Game] achievement finished, that was so easy to code. Just got to fill in all the challenges and optional sidequests.

Has anyone had any issues with some of the cheevs not popping? The cheevs for recruiting Ivan and finding the first Mars Djinn didn't pop for me when I played it. Does using Save States have something to do with it or would that affect it at all?

Edit: Nevermind, I found out it was from me using save states.

Added tons of memory addresses for this game, also added a Rich Presence script. Any questions about their behavior I may be able to help out.

Note: With so many info to add, I have have placed some notes slightly incorrect, like say item artifacts not belonging to the address specified (though they should match with the area they should be)...

Addresses 0x8400, 0x8402 can be used for both the area and battle encounter. Example [01fe, 012e] should trigger Deadbear's battle. (It seems all battles start with 01fe and the other value is the one that changes accordingly to the battle formation...)

Sorry I'm not that interested to create/complete achievements for this game. I just told that I could map some memory addresses, which I did. I have other games I plan to work on, one of them also an RPG for the GBA...

Added following achievements to the existing Djinn, Battle Mode and Progression ones:
- Progression (=bosses)
- Sidequests (Deadbeard, Hammet) and minor optional stuff (Win Colosso, Hsu, Crossbone Isle by ship, Isaac's mom, Bandits escape, Girl in river)
- Obtain rare weapons

- Clear Mercury Lighthouse before Kolimas Giant Tree (Challenge, different dialogue)
- Clear Altin Peak before picking up the Orb of Force (Different dialogue)
- Don't defeat Storm Lizard but outrun him (Fun little challenge, can come back later to defeat him)

These 3 are missable and so is most of the minor optional stuff.

Feel free to suggest achievement ideas I missed. I didn't do anything with specific fighting styles (Classes, Summons) because they are related to the Djinn you have and because summoning changes your class in battle, so idk what achievement would make sense here.

Potential Golden Sun 2 achievements:
With the password system you can transfer data to . This includes character levels, Djinn, items and bonus content if you did all sidequests and optional stuff.
