, the users that are reporting these latest issues are aware of the recent (November/2016) fixes. We are used to use RetroPie on a raspberry pi compiling RetroArch from source. Then, it's really "fresh".

I think that the latest issues are related to hacked ROMs only.

it is Proberley a mGBA issue, I had the same with crash 2 and reported the issue to mGBA github and was fixed within 24hrs.


Check with another device and then report if still having the same issue.

Playing through on a nightly build and I was unable to unlock through it, even resetting the game 3-4 times and I was still unable to. Had to unlock it through RANes instead.

From what I can tell, it displays its "Hit Counter" as VALUE.HC instead of the usual, more-recent VALUE(HC). (Well, I guess in a Mem-Mem or Mem-Delta or Delta-Mem it wouldn't be Value, but you know what I mean...for most achievements it's Value(HC). )

In checking through them, all of the recent achievements I've made with Hit Counters use VAL(HC), so I can only assume the official emus do both VAL.HC and VAL(HC). Maybe if a change was made and it was committed it would update to the more recent style? But it'd be a nightmare trying to remake them all like that. That's all I can assume is that somehow RetroArch's integration doesn't recognize hit-counters using the old method. Or maybe it's the core used, I dunno.

which emulator were you using? Quicknes? I believe that to be the better emulator for nes games.

can you make a save state for just before you would get the achievement, and update it to, if not upload it somewhere and I will upload it. This will help fix retroarch integration.

Hi guys... I am using the last stable build of RetroArch (1.3.6 I think it is). I am new to RetroAchivements and I am using the suggested emulators, specifically right now I am using Snes9x2010 and none of my games seem to be registering on the site that I play them... therefore I can't work on getting any achievements. I have made sure that enable is set to on and my login and password are correct. I have verified this numerous times. I have also opened the config files in RetroArch and the parameters there seem to be correct to . I did not read through all 11 pages but is anyone else having this problem? I really am bummed as this is so cool and I would love to get this working. I want to use RetroArch though because I am using LaunchBox/BigBox as my front end to play all these fantastic games.

You shouldn't be using the stable build. Those haven't been updated quite yet for RetroAchievement stability. Use the nightly.
