Not sure if achievements & were achieved correctly.

I've not put them in faulty achievements as I'm not too sure as the achievements were given when I wasn't expecting them.

was awarded at the end of Aquatic Ruin 1. I must have collected rings at some point as I can't help myself and didn't realise this achievement was there. I had a look at the achievement in the editor and (at a guess as I can't see any notes) Would putting a PauseIf next to requirement 4 so it doesn't keep going back to 0 if you get hit. Also adding a resetif when you start the next stage as to stop the game awarding any achievement if a ring is collected.

Again same thing with would the pauseif work better and have the resetif added to reset if the stage changes.

Hopefully you understand and I've got the pauseif / resetif understanding correct also or will an achievement be awarded even in a paused state?

I remember these ones worked correctly for me,but I think you still could've got right and maybe they could unlock even if you not fulfill all of the requirements.

This unlocked for me at the end of Aquatic Ruin Zone Act 1 yesterday evening, even though I had collected rings. I got hit right before the end of the stage, so I crossed the finish with zero rings, was surprised to see it pop up.

Hey Cirello and Jacko - the ones triggering during the attract mode/demo sequence should be fixed, and the Dry as a Stone achievement has much tighter regulation on it now! You have to be in the previous level to it (Chemical Zone, Act 2), then arrive in the 2nd Act of Aquatic Ruin without your ring counter increasing. This should sort out any issues properly! Thanks again for posting these bugs :)

Oh you are actually referring to the track for Hidden Palace zone which was removed from the final version :)



Back in the day I thought there was a way of unlocking said level and I tried EVERYTHING :P

Really could use a speed run achievement for beating the first level between 25-30 seconds, world record is 23 iirc.

I figure it'll get seen here, actually. Did Ringless Aquatic Ruin Zone Act 1, didn't get the achievement. Used Level Select to get up there ('cause let's be honest, who wants to run through four stages just to take another crack at it?) and Sonic Only.

Any specific thing that needs doing to get the achievement? Doing it with Tails tagging along is friggin' impossible. He intentionally sabotages the attempt.

EDIT: Tried it Sonic Only, without level select. Also didn't activate it.

DOUBLE EDIT: Finally did it with Tails in tow, without the level select. STILL didn't get the achievement. Can we mark that one broken?

Here's an explanation on how Dry as a Stone works. It records a level hit in Chemical Plant Zone Act 2, then if you get a ring, it drops the hit. It requires you to reach Aquatic Ruin Zone Act 2 to complete the achievement.

The achievement was broken, but not the reason you thought. Until I fixed it, you could go level select into Chemical Plant Zone II, reset to the title screen, level select into Aquatic Ruin Zone II, and it would trip. Now it resets the hit if you go to the Level Select again.
