Hey, great idea! I was just thinking about making achievements for this the other day.

If you want to go ahead and make achievements for this game you are more than welcome, this game is just on my list of todos and I saw it didn't have a forum yet. I have at least one more game to finish before I would get to this and I don't really know the game ALL that well.

personne finalement pour créer sur ce jeu ?

I was putting this off for quite some time, but I've always considered coming to it as my next set whenever I finished one. As it is, if nobody else has come to take it up by the time I get done FF Dawn of Souls and FF3J, I will start work on it and stop procrastinating.

Going to attempt to find some addresses in this game. If anyone would like to help, that'd be nice. Hopefully I can find a few things to make some decent achievements.

I see why you may not be able to find memory addresses. Is not that they can't be found, just that they are mixed together, hence not linear. (At least the stats are like that AFAIK)

That's kinda stupid. I don't understand why it can't be all together.
Looking at the values, the way they're stored is just weird.

Is not stupid, is to save space and kind of encrypt them too.
Many values are 2 digits (0-99). 1 byte can store from 0-255 but you will never use the MSB (+128). However if you cluster them together, you can make some use of all bits, you'll just have to do some math.
Edit: In programming is really easy to shift digits, as bits are just numbers by the power of 2. They don't even consume many cycles, so is really fast to do too.

I guess that makes sense, then. Still, weird to me.

(I posted in the comments of the game, but I figure I actually update my progress here)
I'm almost done with the set, just a bit more to go through the game, a boss for the Heroine's story, and I'm pretty much done. Thank you so much SamuraiGoroh for finding a lot of these addresses, it's helped so much.
I'm looking to have the set release sometime in the next few days, at least by the end of the week. Hopefully this is going to be a good set.
EDIT: (Again, posted from the comments of the game)
Achievement set is now active. Please, if you have ANY problems with any of them, let me know. If an achievement is unlocking early or not at all, send me a PM and a savestate before it should unlock so I can fix it.
This set was made with the Hero first, then the Heroine. So if things are weird, that might be why.
I hope everything is good, and everything works. This set was much bigger than my first.
EDIT 2: Also, please use the U Rom without the Mode7 intro. The EU and Mode 7 intro roms break the achievements horribly. So if things aren't working, check those first.

I had to switch save type to Flash 64k if you encounter the same problem ;)

No Achievement for killing 1000 Rabites?
If you kill 1000 monsters, they turn into stronger variants that drop crafting materials that give some high end equipment and weapons

Oh, I'm well aware you can make black versions of each and every monster in the book. I had considered it at first, but I thought of it to be just too grindy and boring.

Okay, I FINALLY understand why some people are having trouble unlocking some of the boss achievements (and even the Dime Tower one), and it's extremely silly of a reason. For some reason, the time of day affects the room ID. Thats it. Thats why it was just sliiiightly off. I finally understand it, at least. So unfortunately, I'm going to have to go back and fix pretty much every achievement for bosses except for the first one. Luckily, I have savestates for quite a few of the bosses, so it won't be so bad. Its still annoying, though.
EDIT: I've went back through and fixed as many bosses as I can without actually playing through the game again myself. Please, if you have ANY trouble unlocking the bosses, send me a savestate before the boss. I know exactly how I can fix them, and I'll do it as soon as I can. Most everything should work, though, aside from a few bosses I haven't been able to test.
