Kinda stuck with trying to make achievements in this game. A lot of the values I intend to use for achievements (damage taken and whatnot) get used for different things on different levels, so in order to better work with things for this game, I need to find out how to determine what level the player is on. Problem is, there's no clear cut way to find this out; there's no zero or one based memory address that work cleanly throughout the entire game to determine this, and the ones that come close fall short by the time you reach the final level.

In addition to that, I need to find the ammo count for area 2 and area 3 and the key item flags for area 2. Once I have those, I should (in theory) be good to go.

Wow. Been a year since I last came to the site. Hard to believe.

But yeah, for actual relevance, I haven't really made any progress on this since last time. I found where the score variables are, but that's about it. Also remembered I can't find where the explosives flag is set for area 1.
