I'm not done yet, and Thanks for the spooky feedback.
I overwrote my main save state, such a kick in the face.. going to take some will-power to get back the the end-ish of the game.

clearly doesn't work so I've demoted it (finally). I don't think there's any hope of fixing it with an absolute lack of code notes and so many conditions that are probably dynamic, it's not worth remaking it.

I don't think you should even consider it a 100% though when the set doesn't even cover all the levels.

I took a look at it and it would seem that it makes some comparison in what I believe it's the graphics area, one of the addresses has a 16-bit size & that's probably making some noise.

Now, what it should had done is to look for an address that tracks either the map ID or event ID, games should normally have either (if not both) of those...

This set is being revised?

If you need ideas, the game lends itself to no damage bosses very well because when you fail you don't have to start the game over, just the act or dungeon. The only one that might be too much of a pain is the act 8 boss because you are required to buy a pass for like 800 coins to do the dungeon, which takes forever. But I don't remember if you can get back into the dungeon for free if you fail it after buying the pass.

Purchasing no shop items (aside the mandatory password in act 8) would be a good one

Using no rho as ammo throughout the whole game which forces you to melee. Rho as ammo decreases the difficulty a lot and this would be neat to make it more challenging

One for each act no death from start to finish would be good for a moderate type of challenge that isn't balls to the wall hard but isn't just standard play either

I'm not really revising the game, but I like to poke the addresses of games when people mention is broken (specially if it's a game I'd played before & more if it was on console).

Now if someone else decided to jump in, it'll be easier for such person to fix and/or implement other achievements.

Oh I didn't mean revise like take a second sweep at a complete set. I guess I should have said 'finish'.

Like Dex said the set doesn't cover all the levels, so it's half finished. I think it stops at Warlock Zone 4/5 and the game goes up to Warlock Zone 9.

I've been pondering about revising/finishing this set, but it was when Rew was back on the site and thought he will get to it eventually. I could add it to my list of planned, and try my skills and luck at some point.

If anyone would like to finish this, PLEASE do.
I remember having a lot of difficulty with it.

I'm somewhat interested in this game, as well as the rest of the SNES Goemon games, so I may have a look at it.
