I would support breaking down the all treasures in game to per dungeon or clustered into smaller challenges. I'm at Sylx right now and there's no way to remember if I missed something. And if it was in Hyne's or the first dragon mountain...

I'm scared too I'm crossing my fingers going for the last 4 ribbons in WoD and hoping it pops. At best Hyne's, the Cockatrice Mountain, Sunken Ship, Unne's Trial can have their own separate ones since you can't go back to those

Oh, I made sure to raid everything, hahahaha.

The fact that when you see Princess Sara in Dorga's scene in Sylx tower, the chests show as closed REALLY FUCKING THROWS ME OFF, because I collected those three chests.

I missed something somewhere. I'm just gonna skip it unless it gets cut up into smaller ones.

Are you using a map? I personally am using this one: http://shrines.rpgclassics.com/nes/ff3/maps.shtml

Either the map is missing hidden items/chests, or the achievement is broken, as I've RAIDED the whole world.

I will see about adding achievements for the places that can't be returned to. There's some stuff in returnable places that's REALLY hidden, though. Did you remember to return to the Altar Cave?

Also, you can check the memory inspector around address 0x6040 to see if you missed anything. I marked all the bits pertaining to chests.

Yeah that room is the best cost/benefit xp in the early game prior to the boulder after Jinn so I went back there ASAP.

I might be missing something somewhere, but the thought some chest ended up in Hyne's Cid's Mountain Pass, the Sunken Ship or another non backtraceable area makes the process of combing the game a second time not worth it if areas are locked out

I MAY have overlooked Alter Cave after the many resets I had to do. However, grinding for Onion drops will make me cry. You can't edit them in game, I tried for giggles, unless you do the upgrade exploit. Haven't tried that one yet.

Just finished. :) "No Stone Unturned" popped for me after I beat the last Zidane clone. I was like "if this doesn't work I'm going to scream!" I played the game again from scratch just for this cheev. (albeit with save states this time)

I used http://vgmaps.com/Atlas/NES/index.htm#FinalFantasyIII for maps.

For Onion drops I turned the dragons into toads. Whether that method of defeating them actually increases the chance as some sites claim or not I don't know but there ya go.

I used the final 2 floors of Sylx for Green and Yellow dragons. You will hate yourself if you fight them on the lower floors because the other enemies that get in the way suck. But on the last two floors the encounters are easy if they arent dragon

Some of the achievements for bosses/items will not occur if you use Petrification via Brak 2 or the the effect of the Break sword on them. Just a heads up for those playing and seem confused.

dumb question but, didn't the latest translation also work? , the 1999 one kinda sucks. I wish to play this game, no hack or rebalance, just the most complete translation.

LordKuddy
"Heroes of a Different Story" is probably the only achievement that wouldn't work in those. I could remove it, link the other versions, and see what happens...

Thanks for your response , I have tried this one http://www.romhacking.net/translations/1590/But achievements doesn't pop =(The newest traslation i found was based on the DS game, that doesn't seems interesting as I played the DS game already.
